Making Upcoming Events Accessible to All Members of the Family

Make upcoming events accessible to all members of the family by posting the schedule in braille, as well as print.

We got season passes to old McDonald’s Farm, which is a petting zoo near us.  My son Liam, who is deafblind, likes to make sure we make it to the pig races and the train rides. We keep a copy of the schedule on the fridge to make sure we don’t miss any of our favorite events!   

 

 

 

 

 

I brailled a copy for him and we have the schedule on the fridge as well.  This means that all of the members of the family have equal access to the schedule and can plan accordingly.
