Braille and large print books for young children available for purchase through Access2Books
Access2Books is a non-profit community interest project based in the UK that publishes dual format children’s books in braille and large print (75 point font). They offer books in both uncontracted and contracted braille, and currently offer 47 titles in large print and braille. Click here to download their flyer.
The project seeks to promote social and educational development through sharing and reading. They also seek to ensure that adults and children with disabilities have the same quality and selection of popular literature as others. The books have reportedly become very popular in UK public and school libraries.
