Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library’s annual Accessible Community, Culture, and Technology Fair will take place on Friday, October 18th and Saturday, October 19th, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

For the first time, our popular Accessible Community Fair will take place over two days. Saturday will have an extra focus on youth and families, though everyone is always welcome.

The last fair hosted 68 tablers and brought in over 300 attendees to learn about the city’s accessible culture, recreation, advocacy, and technology offerings for community members who are blind, low vision, Deafblind, or physically disabled.

We will be hosting this free fair at the New York Public Library’s beautiful Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library at 5th Avenue and 40th Street in Manhattan, and it will include: tablers from educational, employment, advocacy, arts, recreation, technology demos, and support organizations; fun accessible activities; speakers on civic engagement and activism, family activities, music concerts, and more.

Come join this fun event!
