About Yourself: 

I am an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies at the University of Arizona where I joined the faculty in August 1999. I prepare teachers to work with children with visual impairments (TVIs). In March 2012 I became the Project Director for an Institute of Education Sciences (IES) federal project, AnimalWatch-VI Suite: A comprehensive program to increase access to math for students with visual impairments.
