Linking ASL and English

Cover of Linking ASL and English

This url leads to a pdf file that was developed by a teacher for students who are deaf and hard of hearing. It is a variation on creating accessible Power Point books. I like the idea of hyperlinking text to pictures of sign but why stop there? You can hyperlink to short video clips, to dictionary definitions of unfamiliar words, or to sound files that consist of the pronunciation of a targeted word. Don't get thrown by how Power Point looks in the screen shots. This document was prepared in 2008 and Power Point has changed its look since then. But the basic concepts hold.
