Hi Jo,

There is not a single list of goals and objectives that works for all students with visual impairments, and it's important to think about the child's age, abilities, priorities, other disabilities, and other goals being addressed.  It also depends how much vision the student has and what the specific type of visual impairment is.  Is there a TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) working with this student?

You are welcome to email me with specifics at pathsto.literacy@perkins.org
