Analysis of Writing Samples of Middle and High School Students with Visual Impairments

Purpose:

We are collecting writing samples from students with visual impairments to analyze students’ writing skills and better understand their successes and challenges.

Who Can Participate:

This study is open to 6th through 12th grade students who are visually impaired and their teachers of students with visual impairments.

Two-Part Study

First

  1. Complete a brief online survey about their experiences with writing.
  2. Select one of three writing prompts and write a response.

Second

TEACHERS GO TO: https://uarizona.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_afrJAno4OiDy6Zn

  1. Submit the student generated writing response to the researchers.
  2. Complete a brief online survey about yourself and your student after the student generates the writing response.
